-Who are we?

Welcome to The Bathers Company.  We are an Australian owned and run company which has been in operation since 2009. We proudly manufacture high quality swimwear for both children and adults.

We produce a quality and long lasting range of swimwear that offers very high sun protection and unsurpassed comfort so that kids both big and small can crawl, run, swim, jump and explore all that our beautiful oceans and rivers have to offer us.

Our bathers are exposed to salt, chlorine, sun and sand, but your child will grow out of our product before it wears out.

We take time to ensure we make an ethical product. We ensure our manufacturing partners pay a fair wage and provide good working conditions. We are conscious of our impact on the environment not only in the making of our product but in the longevity of it.  We design classical cuts and patterns that wont go out of fashion.  We also design several unisex items so you can pass them from child to child. In addition, our swimwear is manufactured using a high quality fabric that is completely chlorine proof as well as soft and quick drying.

We are  re-designing the expectation of what ‘sun protection’ swimwear should be. We hope that you will find our swimwear both gorgeous to look at and great to wear, that you will wear it because you want to, not because you have to.
